Privacy Policy

Most software companies make their money by collecting your private data and selling it, or by locking it behind a monthly subscription paywall. That is not how we operate.

I'm Dan, the developer behind GoGo Tools. I built these applications to be professional, private, and entirely in your control. Here is exactly how your data is handled when you use my software.

1. Your App Data (We Cannot See It)

The core philosophy of GoGo Tools is "Stop Renting. Start Owning." Because of how these applications are engineered, your private data remains entirely in your hands:

• Google Drive Backend: Tools like GoGo Signage and GoGo Tracker use Google Apps Script to connect directly to your personal or organizational Google account. The data you generate (announcement text, images, mileage logs) lives securely in your Google Drive. I do not have a central database, which means I have zero access to your information.
• Local-First Processing: Apps like GoGo Prompter run entirely inside your web browser. Your scripts are processed locally on your own machine. They are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2. Information Collected During Purchase

When you purchase a lifetime license for a GoGo Tool, the transaction is handled by a secure, third-party payment processor. Through this process, DCW Creative receives basic transaction information, such as:

• Your name and email address (so we can send you your license and setup instructions).
• Purchase history and invoice records.

We never see your credit card numbers or sensitive financial data. Your email address is strictly used to deliver your software, provide customer support, and occasionally notify you of critical security updates or new tools in the suite. We will never sell your contact information to a third party.

3. Website Analytics & Cookies

When you browse the public-facing GoGo Tools website (gogotools.com), we use lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics to understand general traffic patterns (such as which blog posts are popular). This does not track you individually across the internet, and we do not use invasive advertising trackers.

4. Third-Party Services

Because GoGo Tools are designed to integrate seamlessly into your workflow, they rely on third-party infrastructure—specifically, Google Workspace (Google Drive, Google Sheets, etc.). Your use of those integrations is governed by Google’s own privacy policies and security protocols. Since the data lives in your account, it is protected by whatever security measures you have enabled with Google (such as Two-Factor Authentication).

5. Your Rights

Because you own your app data in your Google Drive, you have total control over it. You can delete your spreadsheets, scripts, and deployed web apps at any time, instantly removing the software from your life. If you would like us to delete your email address from our customer records, simply contact support and we will remove it immediately.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we ever need to update this privacy notice, the changes will be posted here. However, the core promise will never change: we build tools that empower you to own your own data.
